Shasta - Trinity National Forest
The Shasta-Trinity National Forests contain picturesque Mt. Shasta and the Trinity-Alps, as well as Shasta Lake and Clair Engle Lake. At Shasta Lake you'll find Shasta Dam, the second largest dam in the United States. Mount Shasta is a 14,162 foot high dormant volcano designated a Registered Natural Landmark. Trinity Alps Wilderness is the second largest wilderness in California.
