The 2012 Periscope - Strength through unity: The Woman's Club of Indio 1912-2012

In 1912, Indio was a town full of men working for the railroad and on ranches. A small group of pioneer women, the majority of whom lived on isolated ranches, felt the need for social interaction and the companionship of other women. They met twice a month for an exchange of ideas.
